Lauree Hanson is the founder and president of Eagle Point Asset Management. She started EagIe Point in order to focus on providing excellent personalized service. In the financial services industry the trend has been to reward advisors for bringing in more business and to handle greater and greater numbers of accounts. In order to give clients the individual attention they deserve, Eagle Point limits its number of client relationships. Having worked in the investment business since 1982, Lauree has advised hundreds of investors while working for bank trust departments and private investment firms. In a prior role as Chief Investment Officer of a trust company, she had responsibility for $1.7 billion in investment assets. Her years of estate settlement experience make her especially attuned to tax and estate planning issues.
A native of Missouri, Lauree graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Missouri with a BS in Finance. In 1988 she completed an MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Qualified Kingdom Advisor.
Lauree lives in Branson, Missouri with her husband and two children. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys serving in her community, gardening and being outdoors in God's beautiful creation. She is an active member of her church and faith-based community catalyst groups in the Branson area. Lauree serves as a Girl Scout leader and on the boards of Ozark Mountain Country Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) and the Servant Christian Community Foundation.
